I remember watching the news in the mid-eighties and the violence all the programs showed throughout the world. I remember trying to find the gorillas in all of the fighting and figured they must have been really good hiders. When I read about the Lebanese/Israeli conflict, it seems new despite seeing the Middle East in flames for all of my life and knowing it has been longer than that.
