Muddling of the Titans
Medusa: They made Medusa more menacing than in the original. She was a woman twice wronged who took her frustration out on everyone. She would giggle to taunt and her face was her birth one until she turned a man to stone. The only thing I didn't like is that she went after Perseus like a woman possessed. She's a stone cold killer, so that didn't work.
The Special Effects: I did like the looks of most of the special effects. They didn't kill everything like in Star Wars or look a Happy Painter painting like Lord of the Rings. Still, Ray Harryhausen's effects had a bit more elegance to them.

Heh Heh
There are many stories about Barrett's bizarre and intermittently psychotic behaviour — some are known to be true. According to Roger Waters, Barrett came into what was to be their last practice session with a new song he had dubbed "Have You Got It, Yet?". The song seemed simple enough when he first presented it to his band mates, but it soon became impossibly difficult to learn: while they were practising it, Barrett kept changing the arrangement. He would then play it again, with the arbitrary changes, and sing "Have you got it yet?". Eventually they realised they never would and that they were simply bearing the brunt of Barrett's idiosyncratic sense of humour.

Girl of My Dreams
In a dark and misty house,
Where no Christian man has been,
Wicked Annabella mixes a brew
That no one's ever seen.
Relatives have passed her by,
Too scared to even say hello.
She's in perpetual midnight,
She shuts out the day,
And goes about her sinful ways.
I, I've seen her hair, I've seen her face,
Look towards mine.
I, I've felt her eyes burning my sole,
Twisting my mind.
Little children who are good
Should always go to sleep at night,
'Cause Wicked Annabella is up in the sky
Hopin' they will open their eyes.
Don't go into the woods tonight,
'Cause underneath the sticks and stones
Are lots of little demons enslaved by Annabella
Waiting just to carry you home
Now "I Want To Be Your Man" has popped up, which is strange since I'm heading to Minnesota tonight.

This One Goes to Eleven
A history of rock icons: Horny Toads
After practicing their craft for years in the smokey bars of Milwaukee, Horny Toads shot to the top of the rock scene in 1975 with their debut album, Warts and All. The band's latest album, Toad for the Road, juxtaposes Drissel's over-the-top vocals with crowd-pleasing riffs to evoke a fine collection fist-pumping rock. With standout tracks like "Lick It for Luck," dominating radio airwaves far and wide, Horny Toads is an essential addition to any music lover's library.

Wishy Washy Bastards
Approval for the Iraq War was huge in this country despite plenty of evidence that it's justification was off base. Add to that the tons of literature, commentaries, etc. that said occupying Iraq would be a nightmare. Hell, even the shrubs father said he didn't topple Hussein in '91 because there was NO EXIT STRATEGY!
The following lyrics are from the Clash. Like many of their lyrics, they're as important today as they were 30 years ago:
White Man In Hammersmith Palais Lyrics
(Strummer/Jones)
Midnight to six man
For the first time from Jamaica
Dillinger and Leroy Smart
Delroy Wilson, your cool operator
Ken Boothe for UK pop reggae
With backing bands sound systems
And if they've got anything to say
There's many black ears here to listen
But it was Four Tops all night with encores from stage right
Charging from the bass knives to the treble
But onstage they ain't got no roots rock rebel
Onstage they ain't got no...roots rock rebel
Dress back jump back this is a bluebeat attack
'Cos it won't get you anywhere
Fooling with your guns
The British Army is waiting out there
An' it weighs fifteen hundred tons
White youth, black youth
Better find another solution
Why not phone up Robin Hood
And ask him for some wealth distribution
Punk rockers in the UK
They won't notice anyway
They're all too busy fighting
For a good place under the lighting
The new groups are not concerned
With what there is to be learned
They got Burton suits, ha you think it's funny
Turning rebellion into money
All over people changing their votes
Along with their overcoats
If Adolf Hitler flew in today
They'd send a limousine anyway
I'm the all night drug-prowling wolf
Who looks so sick in the sun
I'm the white man in the Palais
Just lookin' for fun
I'm only
Looking for fun

I'm Feeling Non-Sensical Today....
Every day, I get up and pray to Jah
And he decreases the number of clocks by exactly one
Everybody's comin' home for lunch these days
Last night there were skinheads on my lawn
Take the skinheads bowling
Take them bowling
Take the skinheads bowling
Take them bowling
Some people say that bowling alleys got big lanes
Some people say that bowling alleys all look the same
There's not a line that goes here that rhymes with anything
I has a dream last night, but I forget what it was
I had a dream last night about you, my friend
I had a dream--I wanted to sleep next to plastic
I had a dream--I wanted to lick your knees
I had a dream--it was about nothing

After the post below and after finding Dave's post, I created my South Park persona after a bike ride. I think it's fitting.
