Whole Lotta Shakin' Going On

So the alcoholic in withdrawal shakes I had late last winter have decided to return. I've had to type this sentence five times in order to correct mistakes from the shaking hand.

On a brighter note, I felt better about myself last night as I ended up in Wal Mart. I answered a ringing phone with some lady asking me if I (ne Wal Mart) stocked floor fans or something and how much they were. I told her to check isle 43, but I didn't know the price. She got mad and said she wasn't leaving home to check. Why the hell does Wal Mart let outside lines ring on all phones, thus allowing someone like me to answer?

Dream Creep

So I had a couple of margaritas last night on an empty stomach. My stomach started churning as I was sleeping so I dreamed that I was chasing some guy, puking at him. It went away by 2 am.

Bits and Pieces

I have a clear picture of last night's dream, but it has no good narrative. I was at my old elementary school's playground, except a fair was going on with tons of tents. Shari was going to do Cabaret again. Michael was the Hamster's Fuzz or Hamster's Hair or something. Whatever that is.

I walked into the gym and saw Nick Otto, with whom I went to school. We watched this boy scout activity where they would take huge handfuls of quarters, throw them in the air, and catch all of them.

I also had a dream that Toby McGuire was holed up in some hotel, doing shitloads of drugs and making his whole room a mess. George Clooney had to step in and intervene.

That's all I remember.

Anonymity Be Gone!

Ever type your own name into Google? I found this gem.

Ugh....

Scene: Pulling onto Highway 151, heading into Madison in a blue Pontiac G6. Three passengers.

Me: Yep, you and *sr-girlfriend* sure made a lot of noise last night.
Shaun: Heh-heh-heh. Yeah. That ends in September.
Steve: I didn't hear a thing. *sp-girlfriend* isn't very loud.
Shaun: I did blankity blank this and blankity blank that.
Steve: You know the position where she yada yada this and yada yada that made *sp-girlfriend* do such and such, especially since she did so on and so forth.
Shaun: I haven't tried that. I don't care much for such and such position.
Me: Yeah, but that one is good for intimacy.
Shaun: (peering at me, wondering if I know what I'm talking about) I guess. But doing humana humana this and yakity yakity that works well.
Me: Doing blah blah gets things going.
Shaun: I know that.
Me: Oh.
Steve: Yeah *sp-girlfriend* is bleep bleep and that does this/that.
Shaun: Really? That works.

We pull into the gas station and get out of the car.

Steve: I'm never going that long without sex again.
Shaun: Yeah.
Me: *sigh*

What assholes.

Pictures

About six months ago, I found the Dane101 news blog by the way of Wikipedia. I just noticed that they host a photo blog at flickr. Good pictures.

By the Nines, a Psychopath is on the Loose!

So there was a serial killer in my dream last night. I was at my parents house circa 1985. Everyone was worried about a killer. Plus I think they were preparing for a prom. I walked through a field into my neighbor's farm except he was some yokel-looking guy who was very friendly. He asked me to sit down. Then the killer showed up. The yokel knocked him over and speared him through the arm with some metal thing. The kill got up, knocked over the yokel, and stabbed him multiple times all over. I ran away.

Then they caught the killer and made a graveyard for all the victims. I was in a circle with a small tree in the middle. The victims families were dressed kind of mideval and danced around the tree like it was a may pole.

Got to love Wisconsin. Lots of kooky killers and kooky people.

Can't Remember Much

but the other night, I had a dream that I needed stuff from Shari's SPO box. Somehow I was communicating through it. Oh, and the buidling was a combination of Macalester's old student union and the British Museum. Whatever that means.

Brokeback Snoozer

I watched Brokeback Mountain last night. One cowboy mubled and hated beans. The other one was excitable and looked funny in a moustache.

Down the Road with Linux

About a week ago my System76 computer arrived at my doorstep. I'm getting a bit fed up with the graft and bloat of Big Tech, so I'm...
